Terms of Service

Shift Logic Digital is a service of Shift Logic Solutions in North Alabama. These terms describe preview requests and the advertised contractor website package. Paid work begins only after the project scope and service agreement have been confirmed in writing.
Free website previews
A preview request is free and does not create a paid subscription or an obligation to purchase. A preview illustrates a proposed design; it is not a live production website. The example businesses on the landing page are fictional concepts shown with stock photography, not client projects or endorsements.
Setup and monthly service
The advertised package is $695 for setup plus $49 per month. Setup includes website design, a mobile-friendly layout, website copy, service information, a project gallery, a contact form, connection to your domain, and professional email setup.
The monthly service includes hosting, SSL, maintenance, one Google Workspace Business Starter mailbox with administration, and up to 15 minutes of minor website content updates per month. Minor updates include editing existing text, replacing a supplied photo, or updating contact details. Larger changes and new functionality are quoted separately before work begins.
Domain ownership and separate fees
The customer owns their domain. We connect a domain you already own or help connect a new domain registered to you. Domain registration and renewal fees are billed separately and are not included in the setup or monthly website price.
Professional email setup means configuring your custom business email, such as you@yourcompany.com. One Google Workspace Business Starter mailbox is included in the $49 monthly service fee. We handle setup, administration, and billing for the included mailbox. Additional mailboxes are billed separately at a price agreed before they are added.
Each customer has a separate Google Workspace account owned by their business. Google’s terms apply to use of Workspace.
Content and launch timing
You provide accurate business details and must have permission to use the logos, photographs, testimonials, and other content you supply. You review and approve the website content before launch.
The 48-hour launch window starts once we have the agreed content, required domain access, and your approval to proceed. Basic on-page search setup does not guarantee search rankings, traffic, inquiries, or sales.
Service term, cancellation, and website handover
Before payment or activation of monthly service, your written service agreement must specify the minimum commitment, billing start date, cancellation notice for both parties, final billing or refund treatment, and the date hosting and support end.
The agreement must also specify whether the website is provided through a managed-platform license or includes an export at cancellation, what files and rights are included in any handover, any transfer costs, and which functions require a new hosting or form service. This page does not promise an export or define a cancellation period.
Your domain and Google Workspace account remain owned by your business when our managed service ends. We arrange a Workspace billing handover so you can continue email service through Google or another reseller. You become responsible for ongoing Workspace subscription charges after the included service ends; the written agreement will specify the handover timing and responsibilities. Domain registration and renewal remain your responsibility.
